In brief

firmaotsing.ee collects very little personal data. There is no registration, no advertising, and no data sold to third parties.

Public data about companies and individuals

Company data shown on the site comes from the open feeds of the Estonian Business Register (RIK) and the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (MTA). These are public records by law.

Names of individuals (board members, shareholders, beneficial owners) are shown because they are part of the public Business Register filing. To have your name removed, you must contact RIK directly — RIK is the source controller, not us.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get traffic and where visitors come from. Analytics is anonymized and only runs after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser — the banner will appear again on your next visit.

We use Google Consent Mode v2: without your consent, only aggregated anonymous signals are sent to Google, not individual user data. Advertising cookies (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are never enabled.

What we do not collect

Data sharing

The only third party that receives anonymous traffic statistics is Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA). The transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Public business-register data is available from the source itself (RIK API, MTA portal) — we are not its exclusive distributor.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what data we process about you and request correction or deletion. Since there are no user accounts, the amount of personal data we hold about a given visitor is effectively zero — only anonymous Google Analytics sessions.

To correct source data (Business Register, MTA), please contact the respective register operator directly.
